Ganiyu Akerele Donates Relief Materials To Ifo Community




Ogun state youth advocate and Chairmanship candidate of the Ifo Local Government Council, Akere Ganiyu has donated relief materials, critical care facilities, and financial support to the good people of his constituency in Ifo community to cushion the effects of the economic and health crisis caused by the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

The relief materials include hand sanitizers, and nose masks. These materials are disbursed through community representatives to ensure adequate circulation.



He made the donation at the community primary school, Ifo, Ogun State.
Honorable Akerele, said the relief materials and Personal Protective Kits were to assist the people of his constituency and facilitate their stay home order caused by coronavirus.
He stated;
“As we witness a rapidly increasing number of cases of the Coronavirus in the country, we have to work hand in hand in stemming the spread of the global pandemic.

“We commend the efforts of our able leader Musibaudeen Adebesin, and we are keen to contribute our resources as representative and individual to the collective effort that will ensure the response to the pandemic is swift and effective.
The political aspirant under the umbrella of the All progressives congress also added
"The novel corona virus must be fought with everything, this virus is deadly and it must be confronted with aggressiveness.
"Many lives have been lost globally, this must not continue. It is with this in mind, my campaign team came up with sensitizing our people and distribute free hand sanitizers to them." 
The team earlier visited the Apex leader in IFO local government, Alhaji Musibaudeen Adebesin in his office to brief him about the team's Covid-19 sensitization campaign.
