The Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria (PMAN) has announced a historic partnership with Brazilian investor Mr. Fabio Pavan, marking a transformative chapter for Nigeria’s creative sector and economic landscape. This groundbreaking alliance, a product of months of negotiations led by PMAN’s President Mr. Pretty Okafor, signifies a strategic shift poised to drive significant growth and investment in the Nigerian music and creative industries.
The pivotal agreement was finalized in Abuja during a high-profile meeting attended by Mr. Pavan; international business consultant Mr. Tope Onifade; PMAN’s legal counsel Henrie Eduozor, Esq.; veteran musician and businessman Mr. Daniel Wilson; architect and CEO of SWC Ltd, Mr. Felix Arome, representing Olusco Heritage & Investment Ltd; and PMAN’s FCT Governor, Mr. Sydney Jack Sparrow. The meeting commenced at the Transcorp Hilton and proceeded to PMAN’s property in the Kukwaba District, where a significant funding arrangement was celebrated. This collaboration aims to fast-track PMAN’s ambitious Abuja project and foster stronger trade ties between Nigeria and Brazil.
Expressing confidence in the collaboration, Mr. Pavan voiced support for Mr. Okafor’s visionary leadership in strategically positioning PMAN as a global player in the creative industry. “This partnership is a testament to PMAN’s commitment to sustainable growth and elevating Nigeria’s creative sector on an international scale,” Mr. Pavan stated.
