The Jack-Rich Patriots, a body canvassing the election of All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential hopeful, Mr. Tein T.S Jack-Rich, has felicitated with Muslims as they celebrate the Eid-el-Fitr.
The body asked Muslims to let love lead in all activities and emulate the virtues of Prophet Mohammed through sacrifice, sharing and peaceful co-existence.
The body also called on Nigerians, in general, to pray for peace, unity and prosperity of the country through good governance and service to humanity.
In a statement by its secretary-general,
Dr. Ibrahim Abdullahi, in Lagos and made available to the press, the Jack-Rich Patriots said all Muslims and by extension, all Nigerians should practice lessons learnt during the Ramadan to love and share with the less privileged in the society as exemplified by Prophet Mohammed.
According to Abdullahi, when every citizen upholds and practice the tenets of the holy books, peace and tranquillity will reign in the country as a function of the foundational love we share among ourselves and then our unity and prosperity will flourish.
“As we celebrate the Eid-el-Fitr, therefore, it is important we rededicate ourselves to the key virtue of love, to let love lead us in all that we do as basis for deepening democracy, good governance, our common humanity and better co-existence in our society”.
